The Friki Tiki can comfortably accommodate up to 32 passengers, making it perfect for large groups, bachelorette parties, birthdays, and corporate outings.
We are conveniently located at the Bristol Marina, next to downtown Charleston. The parking and drop-off address is 185 Lockwood Dr, Charleston, SC 29403, across from the Marriott Hotel at Brittlebank Park.
Once parked, head left toward the water, pass the rowboats, and enter through the gated marina access. Walk straight until you see the Friki Tiki.
Please arrive 15–20 minutes early for check-in — tours depart promptly and refunds aren’t available for missed cruises.
Yes! All cruises are BYOB and you’re welcome to bring your own snacks, meals, and beverages. We provide coolers, ice, and bottled water on board to keep everything chilled. We do not have plates or utensils so please bring them if needed!
Our Bluetooth sound system lets you connect your own playlist, DJ-style. Feel free to bring your party tunes or let our crew help set the vibe for your cruise. We also offer add-ons for live music or DJ on board! Call us for availability and pricing.
We definitely recommend sunscreen or any other protective sun wear as half the boat is open and Charleston sun is hot! There is plenty of dry storage on the boat, so there’s no problem bringing your phones or other personal items. Swimming is allowed during our daytime summer cruises so towels and swimsuits are never a bad idea.
Smoking and hard liquor are not allowed on the boat.
If you are bringing out beers and seltzers, please try to buy cans. Wine bottles are fine.
Private Cruises: You rent the entire boat for your group.
Semi-Private Cruises: Share the Friki Tiki with other small groups.
Public Cruises: Buy individual tickets and join other guests on select dates and times.
Swimming is allowed on private and semi-private cruises between May 1 and September 30, for trips lasting 2.5 hours or longer. Floats and mats are included on all daytime charters.
For safety reasons, swimming may not be permitted if conditions are unsafe, such as strong tides or nearby storms. Swimming is not available on public or sunset cruises
Gratuity is not included in the price of the charter. If you would like to leave anything for the crew, they accept cash and Venmo at the end of each boat tour.
We cruise rain or shine unless there’s severe weather. The Friki Tiki has a covered area for shade and light rain. In the event of unsafe weather, we’ll work with you to reschedule or refund your trip.
